Kasegaon Education Society is one of the leading educational organizations in the Western Maharashtra. It was established in 1945 by Loknete Shri. Rajarambapu Patil, the leading Statesman. Considering the need of time, the Society focused its attention on imparting the education to the rural masses. The Society started schools in the nearby villages and a Sarvodaya hostel for backward class students at Kasegaon. After the untimely and sad demise of Loknete Shri. Rajarambapu Patil in 1984, it was Hon. Jayant Patil, his son, who alike his father entered his public life through educational activities. He shouldered the responsibility of Kasegaon Education Society. He took the Society with time, diversifying its educational facilities. Today, the Society has established 43 primary and secondary schools and 25 higher educational institutes and 12 hostels under its roof. This includes Arts, Commerce and Science Colleges, Information Technology Institutes, Engineering College, Polytechnic, Management Institutes, Nursing Institute, Agricultural Polytechnic, Pharmacy College and International English Medium School. The Society has been conferred the prestigious awards like 'Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Dalitmitra Puraskar' and 'State Award for Educational Institutes' by Government of Maharashtra. Certificates of Appreciation have been also awarded to the Society by C-DAC and MKCL for its exemplary contribution towards computer literacy. Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT) established in 1983 has proved to be a landmark development of the Society.
